How to use FlyerConnect

    Andrea Doane and Dana Damiani

    Great connection

Dana Damiani '21 (at right, studying abroad in Paris during sophomore year) used Nazareth's FlyerConnect to make an easy, friendly, helpful connection with Andrea Doane '91 (at left), who's a global communications director for GE in Zurich, Switzerland — and a fellow French major.

Dana, who double-majors in French and Spanish and has a minor in communication and media, discovered they had a professor in common, had both studied abroad in the same city, and, "When she was my age, she was feeling the way I do."

The informational interview excited Dana about the possibilities in the communications field and gave her more information about what to expect. "This is a really good platform for networking," she said, calling FlyerConnect super convenient. "It's all Naz alumni. Everybody knows Naz people are so nice."

Andrea (shown on a work trip to India) enjoyed the conversation and says the tool provides a great way to give back and stay connected to the Nazareth community from afar.

Update: After graduation, Dana was hired as a TV show producer.
