It was a different time. A historic awakening. Nazareth was born out of a need for new voices and new ideas from those who previously had no voice. And 100 years later we still strive to answer the larger questions of how far have we come and how will we prepare individuals to improve the world around them?
To commemorate and honor this incredible milestone, we are planning collaborations, celebrations, and impact during the year before and after Sept. 24, 2024, to advance Nazareth's work to lead through empathy, equity, and innovation.
We will share opportunities to reflect on our heritage and take action as courageous changemakers who are open to possibilities and passionate about changing the world around us for the better.
Thank you to Wellington Steele and Associates plus the Leva family for their support as the presenting sponsor of the Centennial Celebration.
For us, looking back is actually about looking forward. Knowing where you've been leads to understanding where you want to go. And going forward into the future is very much on our minds here at Nazareth.

Drop Naz-themed items — like apparel, books, athletics/arts/music/theater/club gear, or a write-up/photo of your Naz memories — at the Alumni Engagement Office. The time capsule gets sealed at Naz Weekend 2024, until Nazareth's sesquicentennial in 2074!
Since kicking off its centennial in September 2023, Nazareth University has already celebrated so much.
