Center for Student Success

Academic Recovery Program (ARP)

What it is:

  • 1:1 meetings with an Academic Success Coach beginning the first week of classes and lasting throughout the semester.
  • Learn time management and study strategies.
  • Enjoy a support system while setting and achieving personalized goals for your academic success.

Who's eligible:

  • ARP is primarily utilized by students who are on academic probation (students looking to just improve their academic performance without a goal of getting off probation would be better served by Academic Success Coaching).
  • However, if you're not on probation but you believe more structured, intensive coaching would be helpful, let us know and we can enroll you in ARP!

What to expect:

  • Academic support and guidance
  • A push to focus on the best learning strategies for you
  • Academic skill development
  • Help connecting with tutors

How to sign up:

  • E-mail Amy Fisher, Director of the Center for Student Success, at afisher3@naz.edu to express your interest in participating in ARP at least 10 days before the start of the semester.
