The Campaign for College and Community—the largest fundraising effort in Nazareth’s history—is poised to reach its $45 million goal by June 30. In addition to helping reach this significant milestone, gifts from alumni will inspire and support today’s students as they work to achieve their educational and career aspirations.
“The impact of the generous donors who have supported the Campaign for College and Community can be seen in every facet of the campus,” notes Kelly Gagan, vice president for institutional advancement at Nazareth. “From a newly renovated and revitalized Arts Center to construction of Peckham Hall, home to the state-of-the-art Integrated Center for Math and Science, and a planned new Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute, the campaign has enhanced Nazareth’s campus in ways that will benefit students and the community for years to come. Additionally, to help ensure that Nazareth remains accessible and affordable for students, more than 77 new endowed funds totaling more than $7 million have been created to support new student scholarships and program enhancements.”
Alumni support is the lifeblood of any college. It is the barometer that other funders use when considering their own investment. “To all of you who have already stepped forward to support Nazareth and our students,” Gagan says, “we offer sincere thanks. To those of you who have yet to make a gift, it is not too late.”
As Nazareth makes its final push toward the finish line of the largest and most transformational campaign in the College’s history, gifts to the Nazareth Fund, which provides funding for high priority areas including student aid, academic program enhancements, and student programming, will enable us to reach the campaign’s goal and ensure that a Nazareth education remains accessible for tomorrow’s students.
