'50s

Barbara Reals Trotter '55, Audrey Lovelace Caughey '55, Pauline Podest Shannon '55, and Kathryn Fanning '55 gathered in downtown Clifton Springs, N.Y., for lunch last August. Members of the class of 1955 living in Central NYC try to gather at least once per year.

'60s

Nancy Griffin Shadd ’64, Speech Path., was recently appointed president of the Chautauqua Women’s Club, an organization dedicated to providing a variety of literary, educational, and religious programming as well as student scholarships at Chautauqua Institution on Chautauqua Lake in southwestern NYS.

Maribeth Norsen Mancini ’68, Eng., was honored with the F. Sadlier Dinger Award on May 20, 2014, during the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership in St. Louis, Mo., for her outstanding contributions to the ministry of religious education in America.

Dr. Johanna Siebert '75, Music, received the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra's Outstanding Music Educators award for her tremendous commitment to music education.

'80s

Ellen Carr '80, '95G, Mgmt Sci., Bus. Ed., is now an adjunct instructor of business and computing classes at SUNY Brockport.

Kim Humphrey '81, Bus. Admin., was recently appointed Director, Southeast Region of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence and as Vice Chair, Operations for the Virginia Senate Productivity and Quality Award.

Geralyn Esworthy '82, Nsg., has earned her master's degree in nursing from Villanova University.

Capt. Wilson Johnson '82, Psych., was honored by the Rochester Rotary with the Henry H. Jensen Memorial Award.

Ruth Coniber Kroboth '83, Eng., is now a mental health counselor after 31 years as a licensed customs broker. Kroboth earned her M.A. from Medaille College.

Sam Bellinger '84, Bus. Admin., became the Director of Finance for the Second Stage Theatre in NYC in December 2012. He also won the National World Poker Amateur Championship in Las Vegas in April 2014.

Michael Deckman '88, Bus. Admin., recently launched Mentauge.com, an online men's vintage clothing store.

Greg Speranza '88, '91G, Eng., Ed., is now president and managing partner of MindStream Consulting, Inc., a national firm committed to K-12 school transformations through executive and instructional coaching, data-based decision making, strategic planning, and organizational development.

Alan Wood '88, Bus. Admin., was recently appointed to the Golisano Children's Hospital Board of Directors in Rochester.

Karen Grant Stefano ’90, Theatre Arts, performed in the musical Fannie Lou at Carnegie Hall on October 9, 2014.

Michael DeCory ’91, Bus. Admin., was promoted to Vice President, Grocery and Dairy at Wegmans.

Tricia Renshaw ’93, French, is currently in the process of launching her own wines under her label, Venus Rising. In May, she was named beverage education director at the New York Wine and Culinary Center in Canandaigua.

Holly Valentine ’93, ’00G, Theatre Arts, Elem. Ed., received the New York City-based Broadway League’s annual League Educator Apple Award in June 2014 for her work with the Rochester Broadway Theater League’s Phantom “Beyond the Mask” education program.

Michael Sterling ’95, Hist., managed the development and construction of Gladstone Street Medical Clinic in Warragul, Victoria, Australia, in November 2013, offering general practice medicine, physiotherapy, and psychology. He is now the clinic’s practice manager.

Chris Hilderbrant ’99, Soc., was appointed as Finger Lakes Health System Agency’s Chief Operating Officer in April 2014.

Kathleen Ryan ’00, ’05G, Soc. Wk., recently received the Hal Kreter Award from the Genesee Veterans Support Network for her work with ex-members of the military who live in the community or are patients at the Batavia VA Hospital.

Christopher Parmeter ’01, Math, co-authored a textbook titled Applied Nonparametric Econometrics, published in September 2014.

Michelle Johnson ’05, ’11G, Eng., Lib. Stu., recently became the Director of Alumni Relations at Farmingdale State College.

Stephanie Borrello ’06, Art, is a corporate marketing manager at the DelMonte Hotel Group in Rochester, NY.

Gatlen Ernst ’07, Bus. Admin., is the new owner of Lake Breeze Marina at Point Breeze.

Brittney Stanton Snyder ’08, Music, Mus. Ed., began a new job as the Director of Development of the Austin Lyric Opera in Austin, Texas.

Andrea Durfee ’09, ‘11G, Art, Art Therapy, is the account manager at the DelMonte Hotel Group in Rochester, NY.

Lisa Salvaggio ’09, Psych., recently attained professional status as a school guidance counselor at Bellingham Memorial Middle School in Bellingham, Mass. She is a fourth-year counselor who is also working on her second master’s degree in mental health counseling at Bridgewater State University.

Kaitlyn Oudt '11, Comm. Rhet., is now Administrative Assistant, District Administration and Community Development for KeyBank in Albany, N.Y.

David Balestrini '12, Music, Mus. Ed., accepted a position as a teacher at Vanguard Classical School in Denver, Colo.

Stephanie Kawzenuk '12, Mus. Ther., is now the head music therapist at Jackson Memorial Pediatric Extended Care Facility in Miami, Fla.

Katie Fischer '13, Hist., Italian, received a SITE Internship in Italy. Fischer will be teaching English at a high school for eight months beginning in fall 2014.

Tiffany Ho '13, Mus. Ed., began her master's degree in vocal performance and pedagogy at Westminster Choir College in August 2014.

Yajaira Rosa '13, Soc. Wk., graduated with her Master's of Social Work from Fordham University in 2014.

Tara Weber '13, Bus. Admin., is now a marketing specialist for ITX Corp.

Lindsey Doyle '14, '16G, Mus. Ed., accepted a position as a teacher of strings at Smallwood Drive Elementary and Windemere Elementary in Amherst, N.Y.

Lauren Beikirch '14, Mus. Ed., accepted a full-time teaching position with Victor Central School District, directing three string orchestras and teaching string lessons at the Intermediate School.

Victoria Valente '14, Music, Mus. Ed., accepted a position at Brockport High School as the ninth-grade band teacher, which includes woodwind and percussion lessons, an African hand-drumming class, and a general music class.

Jane Lovenheim Glazer '80G, on Sept. 5, 2014. Jane was the founder and president of QCI Direct, a mail-order homeware company headquartered in Chili, N.Y. Started in 1983, the company now employs 100 people and mails nearly 50 million catalogs annually. Jane served on numerous community boards, including Nazareth College's Board of Trustees and the School of Management Advisory Council, and was a prominent Rochester philanthropist and active community volunteer. She held a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Buffalo and a Master of Science in Education from Nazareth.
