Chamber Winds and Saxophone Society

Chamber Winds

Chamber Winds is a chamber ensemble open to all woodwind and french horn players whether they are music majors or not. Music majors may take this as chamber ensemble/minor ensemble credit. Members gain valuable ensemble, musical, and technical advancement through the study, rehearsal, and performance of standard chamber wind repertoire, arrangements, and new works by living composers.

Saxophone Society

The saxophone quartet/ensemble is open to anyone who is interested in performing in the ensemble. Saxophone quartet usually consists of a soprano, alto, tenor, and bari saxophones. The saxophone ensemble is formed when students register a group of six or more. The repertoire consists of transcriptions and original saxophone quartet pieces. The group performs each semester.
