Colleen Wolf

Biography

Colleen Wolf joined the faculty at Nazareth University in 2016. In addition to teaching horn, she is a member of two regularly performing faculty ensembles, the Wilmot Brass Quintet and the Wilmot Woodwind Quintet.

A dedicated educator, Ms Wolf joined the faculty of Houghton College in 2015, and has taught at the Hochstein School of Music and Dance since 2004. She is a founding member of two faculty ensembles at Hochstein, Fem Vindar [a woodwind quintet] and Plymouth Brass Quintet. Ms Wolf also serves as Co-Chair of the Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion Department, Brass Chamber Music Coordinator and Coach, and HYSO Brass Coach at Hochstein.

An active freelance musician, Ms Wolf has appeared on Hochstein's "Live from Hochstein" live radio broadcast series, "Spotlight on Faculty" series, and "Hochstein at High Falls" series. She has served as Principal Horn of the Greater Rochester Women's Philharmonic since 2005.

Ms Wolf holds the Master of Music degree (Horn Performance) from the University of Michigan and the Bachelor of Music degree (Horn Performance) from the Eastman School of Music, where she was also awarded the prestigious Performer's Certificate.
