Summer Piano Camp

The Nazareth College Summer Piano Camp is designed for students who seek fresh opportunities for music-making while sharing common interests with their peers. From the curious piano student who has been taking weekly lessons to the more advanced player seriously considering collegiate studies in music, piano campers will participate in five music-filled days of educational, creative, and collaborative experiences, at the same time enjoying the chance to make new friendships.

Prerequisites

  • Intermediate playing level or above, with established reading fluency expected.
  • Participants should have two prepared solo pieces for continued work in private lessons and for performance in a final recital.

Eligibility

For students entering grades 7 through 12 in fall of 2017.

Camp Schedule

  • Monday, July 10 through Friday, July 14, 2017
  • Activities begin each day at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
  • Lunch (brown bag) from 12 noon to 1 p.m. each day. Food available for purchase on-campus.

Camp Fees

Tuition: $350; $325 if registered by June 1, 2017
