Your MyNaz password is your key to the University's online resources. You can use your MyNaz password to access NazNet Self Service, Moodle, web directories and other Nazareth online services.
Students (starting when you're accepted to Nazareth): Check your e-mail account (the one you listed on the application or registration form) for a unique activation link and instruction for your MyNaz account.
Nazareth faculty and staff: To activate your MyNaz Account, Visit auth.naz.edu and click ‘Activate Account.’ Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your account. Define your security questions (to help protect your account). Set your password.

What is my common username?
Your common username is the username you use to access your Nazareth email. For example, if your email address is jsmith1@naz.edu, your username would be "jsmith1."
What is a MyNaz password?
Your MyNaz password is the username/password combination you use to access both NazNet Self Service and Moodle.
Which applications use the MyNaz password?
NazNet Self Service, Moodle, Atomic Learning and Colleague use your myNaz password.
Students: The only system that will not automatically use your myNaz password is your Nazareth Google email. Any MyNaz password resets will be sent to your Nazareth Google email account.
What are the MyNaz password requirements?
- 90-day password expiration
- Minimum password length: eight (8) characters
- Password history: six (6) passwords
- Passwords must not contain the user's entire account username or entire full name
- Passwords must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
- Uppercase characters
- Lowercase characters
- Numbers
- Non-alphanumeric characters: ~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|\(){}[]:;"'<>,.?/
