Auditions/Portfolio Required

Auditions are required for acting, musical theatre, and theatre arts applicants. Other majors can audition to be considered for scholarships. Technical production applicants are required to have a portfolio review.

        Senior Showcase

        The Theatre and Dance Department Senior Showcase enables senior musical theatre and acting majors to present performance skills to industry professionals, agents, and casting directors in New York City. This  opportunity for callbacks, auditions, and representation launches careers in stage/television/film, and helps make the Theatre and Dance program at Nazareth College a rival to many nationally acclaimed programs.

        "Live theater keeps your spirit alive. I love the challenge of the creative process," says Corinne Aquilina, assistant professor and program director of musical theatre. She focuses on real-world career preparation: "You should have a job before you graduate. My goal is to offer the tools and opportunity necessary for what is trending in musical theatre.         Theatre and performing arts clubs and organizations are open to majors and non-majors. Clubs include Dare2Dance, the Nazareth Dance Organization, and Theatre League.
