January 2025 Undergraduate Orientation
Nazareth University’s Spring Orientation Experience is required for all incoming freshman and transfer students for the spring semester. Orientation takes place before the spring term begins, with essential programming offered online.
Additional optional sessions are available both virtually and in person. Please plan ahead to take full advantage of both required and optional sessions for a well-rounded orientation experience.
Orientation Overview
- Online Onboarding: Access on-demand modules to help you get acquainted with campus resources and student life. Available to deposited students beginning November 15, 2024. If you cannot access this course, please email Dr. Nicole Juersivich at njuersi9@naz.edu.
- Virtual Academic Advising and Registration Appointments: Details regarding your advisement and registration appointment will be sent to your Nazareth email.
- Orientation Flyer Ready Days (select one of four options): In-person sessions include campus tours, introductions to fellow new students, and meet-and-greet opportunities with various University departments. Family members are welcome. Register below for one of the available dates.

- New Resident Move-In: Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 9 a.m. - Noon and 1p.m. -3 p.m.
- Dinner in the Dining Commons: Sunday, January 19, 2025, opens at 5 p.m.
- New Student Welcome Breakfast and Reflection: Monday, January 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Golisano Academic Center (GAC) Room 151. Join us for coffee, fruit, and donuts, learn about the legacy of our founders, and reflect on the beginning of your journey at Nazareth. - Classes Begin: Tuesday, January 21. (Academic calendar)
- Transfer First Day Welcome: Tuesday, January 21, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Stop by to visit with the Transfer Advocacy Group to say hello, and grab some snacks and swag in Shults Center hallway!
- Attend fun events: Kick off the semester with NazWOW: Week of Wonder, a series of events near the start of the semester aimed at helping you connect with the campus community, build social ties, and have fun.
- 2025 King for a Day: Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East High School. Join local colleges, universities, and organizations to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other Civil Rights leaders through advocacy and service.

Who should attend?
All new, matriculated first-year and transfer students beginning in Spring 2025.
Register for one Flyer Ready Session
Choose one:
- Session 1: Tuesday, December 10, from 9 a.m. to noon
- Session 2: Wednesday, December 11, from noon to 4 p.m.
- Session 3: Monday, January 13, from 9 a.m. to noon
- Session 4: Monday, January 13, from noon to 4 p.m.
Register for a session at least five days in advance. Your enrollment deposit must be paid to register for a Flyer Ready Session.

After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
- If you sign up for a December session, a campus map and session details will be emailed to your Nazareth account by Saturday, December 7.
- If you sign up for a January session, this information will be sent by Friday, January 10.
