Nazareth Breaks Ground on New Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute

Nazareth College ceremoniously broke ground in April on the Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute (WRI). New York State Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy joined Nazareth College President Daan Braveman and members of the College’s board of trustees. The new $16.5 million expansion has received new gift commitments of more than $3.4 million dollars bringing total funds committed to the project to $15.5 million.

Nazareth Students and Faculty Honored at President's Civic Engagement Awards

Twenty-two Nazareth College students were honored with a Community Service Award at the President’s Civic Engagement Awards.  Two students received Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards. The ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 22 at 4 p.m. in the Otto A. Shults Center Forum. From a variety of different academic disciplines, the students were selected by a committee based on their commitment to service both on-campus and in the greater Rochester and global communities. Eight faculty and staff members will also be honored for their outstanding efforts to provide volunteer service to the community and live a civically engaged life.
