Nazareth Selected as a Top School in Military Advanced Education's 2015 Guide to Colleges & Universities

Published December 09, 2014

Nazareth College has been named a Top School in the Military Advanced Education (MAE) 2015 Guide to Colleges & Universities. Schools receiving this honor are recognized for their best practices in military and veteran education. The Guide will be released in the December issue of MAE, and is available online at www.mae-kmi.com.

Nazareth’s Office of Veterans’ Affairs is one of five Student Support Services on campus and works to support veteran students making the change from military life to life as a student. The office provides support that range from financial and career planning to living a healthy lifestyle, including physical and mental health as well as disabilities. These support systems on campus allow veteran students to successfully prepare for their lives after their time at Nazareth.

The Guide presents results of a questionnaire of the military-supportive policies enacted at more than 600 institutions including private, public, for-profit, not-for-profit, four-year, and two-year colleges. From community colleges to state universities, online universities and nationally known centers of higher learning, MAE’s 2015 Guide to Colleges & Universities arms students with information about institutions that go out of their way to give back to our men and women in uniform.
