Some orientation events will have music, visual stimuli, and close physical proximity to others. If you need to step away and take a break, we have sensory-friendly rooms across campus.

8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Arts Center, A Lot
Welcome to Nazareth University! Please enter at the Arts Center parking lot (campus map).
9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Echo Circle
After checking in with Residential Life staff and moving your belongings into your room, make your way to orientation check-In.
9 a.m. – Noon, Medaille Front
Have tapestries, curtains, or any other fabric items you want to hang in your room? Make sure to get them approved and fireproofed beforehand.
9 – 11 a.m., Campus Wide
Stop by offices to meet the staff who will support you during your time at Naz. Get your questions answered and pick up anything you might need before classes start.
11:00 a.m. – 1 p.m., Echo Circle
Enter on North Campus Drive and make your way to Q Lot (near Golisano Academic Center). Follow signs to orientation check-in to receive your materials, pick up your Naz swag, and connect with Nazareth offices and services (campus map). Don’t forget to make time to attend the President’s Picnic!
11:00 a.m. – 1 p.m., Dining Commons & Shults Center
The President, Dr. Beth Paul, invites you to celebrate this important day with a welcome picnic. Enjoy one of our indoor locations or one of the beautiful outdoor areas on campus.
1 – 2:45 p.m., Arts Center, Foyer
The Resource Fair is an exciting opportunity to connect with services and resources that will help you throughout your time at Naz. Chat one-on-one with representatives from various campus departments.
3 – 3:45 p.m., Arts Center, Callahan Theater
President Paul, on behalf of the university, enthusiastically welcomes you to the Golden Flyer family.
3:45 – 4:00 p.m., Arts Center, Sculpture Garden
This concludes joint new student and family programming. New students will meet their orientation groups, while families and supporters will gather in Callahan Theater for the next session.
4:00 – 4:45 p.m., Arts Center, Callahan Theater
Making the shift from high school or another institution can be challenging. Learn more about what this experience is like for your student as well as how you can support them through this time of change.
4:45 – 5:45 p.m., Arts Center, Sculpture Garden
Parents, families, and supporters are invited to come together to toast their student and celebrate this important milestone!
