Residence halls (including apartments) are closed by 6:00PM Monday, May 4, 2020.
Students must leave within 24 hours of your last final exam or by 4:00PM Monday, May 4, whichever comes first.
To request permission to stay on campus for any part of time after the end of the semester, fill out the Break Housing Request Form online by 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 20th.
- You will be notified via email of either the approval or denial of your request by April 27th.
- Should you be approved, you will be charged a daily fee of $50.00 to remain on campus that will be automatically added to your student account.
Only students with written permission from the Department of Residential Life can remain on campus or return to campus before residence halls reopen.
Neither on-campus nor off-campus employment commitments constitute a legitimate reason to remain in on-campus housing. Student teachers, student interns, and commencement musicians/volunteers also must fill out the Break Housing Request Form.
Please make your travel plans accordingly as requests to stay due to travel will not be approved.
Exceptions:
- International Students: Inform the Center for International Education of your break plans. CIE will send a master list with your information to Residential Life.
- Student Athletes (who are in season and required to stay by your coach for practice or competition): Inform your coach of accommodations needed. Your coach will send the team's information to Residential Life.
