Transfer & Graduate Student Housing

Transfer Students

  • If you will enter Nazareth as a first-year student, you have the option of selecting a shared-interest community.
  • If you enter as a sophomore, junior, or senior, you have multiple housing options.

See Residence Halls for descriptions of buildings and amenities.

Nazareth's limited number of single rooms go mostly to returning students in spring semester housing selection. Transfer students are assigned to available vacant rooms. Once you receive a space, you can request a change to a different room or building depending on availability. See Room Change Procedures for more information.

Graduate Students

***NEW OPTION ADDED FOR SUMMER 2023****

Due to the popularity of our new graduate housing, we have expanded this program and are able to offer the remaining single rooms on the 3rd floor of Medaille as an option for both new incoming graduate students and continuing Nazareth students returning for graduate school for Fall 2023. These additional beds are in traditional single rooms but will come equipped with a twin XL bed, air-conditioning unit, and micro-fridge, in addition to the other amenities listed below.  Because the room dimensions can not accommodate a full-size mattress, the cost for the 2023-24 year will be $10,000 or $5,000 per semester. This rate also includes the Flyer 60 meal plan each semester. Applications can be found on the housing portal.

Current Nazareth students: You can apply for graduate housing on campus if you lived on our campus your undergrad senior year. Please refer to the returning student housing application page for more information.

Incoming, new-to-Nazareth graduate students: We are excited to offer housing in Medaille Hall to you for the 2023-2024 academic year! Applications are on the housing portal. Due to the limited availability, housing priority is based on your deposit date.

Amenities in Medaille will include the following:

  • Full-size bed and mattress
  • Air-conditioning unit in room
  • Single rooms (double rooms as singles) with microfridges in each room.
  • Shared community bathrooms
  • Communal study space and access to kitchen and free laundry facilities
  • Open during all breaks (e.g., Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring)
  • Option to request room placement near friends in the building, if available
  • Short-term/single semester housing options
  • Parking available on campus
  • All utilities, cable, internet, and local phone service.

The cost for the 2023-24 year will be $11,000. This rate also includes the Flyer 60 meal plan each semester. You have the option to upgrade your meal plan if you like.

Summer housing is also available for those who need it due to their program requirements at a reduced rate.
