Bozena Granat

Biography

Bozena Granat holds a Master's degree in Musicology and Music Education from Jagiellonian University of Krakow, Poland. Before studying in Krakow, she completed a double major in Piano and Eurhythmics at the State Conservatory of Music in Rzeszow, Poland. She continued her studies in Music Education at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst and holds both Massachusetts and New York State teaching certifications in music.

Mrs. Granat has taught music history, piano, and eurhythmics at the State Conservatory of Music and has thirteen years of teaching experience in Massachusetts and New York State public schools. Mrs. Granat is currently teaching music at the Brighton School district. In addition, she is the Director of Children's Music Programs at Asbury First United Methodist Church of Rochester and Instructor of Piano and Eurhythmics at Hochstein School of Music and Dance, Rochester, NY. She has also offered classes for young children at Webster Montessori School and the Community Music School at Nazareth College, Rochester, NY.
