Kevin Weber

Kevin Weber has been a public school educator for 17 years. He is currently entering his 10th year in the Hilton Central School District. During his time at Hilton, he has both general music and elementary chorus, as well as 7th and 8th grade band at Merton Williams Middle School.

His groups have worked with Dr. Jared Chase and the Nazareth University Wind Symphony, as well as composer Steve Danyew. His Jazz Ensemble has been fortunate to work with guest artists such as Victor Wooten, the Marcus Roberts Trio, Dave Weckl, Randy Brecker, Allen Vizzutti, and the Chris Minh Doky All Stars.

In addition to his teaching duties, Kevin has dedicated much of his career to working with students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). He developed a summer music program for the Pittsford Central School District's ESY program and teaches a Music Essentials class for IDD students at Merton Williams, where they have created musicals, composed music, and produced custom tracks. He also co-advises the Merton Williams Best Buddies Chapter, which was named the Outstanding Chapter of the Year.

Kevin holds undergraduate and master's degrees in music education from Nazareth College, with a minor in trumpet performance.

He has performed with various ensembles in the Rochester area, including the Rochester Oratorio Society, Greece Symphony, Music Educators Wind Ensemble, and was the trumpeter for St. Johns of Rochester in Fairport from 2010-2018. He has performed for the past three years with the Nazareth University Night Flyers, and he is thrilled to be back at Nazareth as the ensemble's director.

In a leadership role, Kevin is the MCSMA Junior High Band All-County Coordinator.

He lives in Fairport with his wife, Patti, their son, Jack, and their dog, Dasher.
