Dear Fellow Alumni

We asked … the Nazareth community answered … and we listened!

Following surveys and outreach to our alumni, discussions with key stakeholders on campus, and thoughtful analysis of alumni relations’ strategic goals, we have decided to create two distinct reunion programs.

Beginning in 2015, the biggest alumni weekend of the year will become an annual fall event. Alumni told us in a recent survey that they’d prefer to return to campus when it’s at its most vibrant, so we’ve expanded the programming as well. We look forward to welcoming alumni and friends back to campus for traditional reunion programming, along with athletics competitions, Arts Center events, student activities, and more.

Homecoming & Reunion 2015 will be held during the weekend of September 18–19, 2015. Honored class years are those ending in zero or five, but we welcome all alumni back for this fun-filled weekend.

In addition, alumni past their 50th anniversary year indicated a different preference for their annual gathering, so the 51+ Club Luncheon will continue to be a spring event. This year’s luncheon will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015. Of course, all 51+ Club members are encouraged to attend the fall reunion as well.

I look forward to collaborating with Nazareth’s alumni community as we explore and capitalize on the many opportunities these changes provide to support student success and alumni engagement. If you’re interested in volunteering to help with your reunion class committee, please drop us a line at alumni@naz.edu.

Warm regards,
