Casa Italiana Book Club
Casa Italiana hosts this monthly book club for informal discussions of Italian books. The Club is open to anyone — to practice the Italian language and/or learn about Italy and its culture. The group suggests books, usually by contemporary Italian authors, that reflect the changes that have taken place over time in the language and customs.
Free.
When: First Saturday of each month at 11:30 am

Italian Film Series
The Italian Film Series and the Frank DiMino Casa Italiana are proud to bring contemporary Italian films to the Rochester area.
Films will be screened at the Peace Theater (Room A14), located at the lower level of the Nazareth Arts Center. There is ample free parking at the center.
The film screening will be followed by a dinner at the Frank DiMino Casa Italiana, located in front of the Arts Center.
Film tickets: Free for Nazareth students, faculty and staff. New advance ticket price for Casa Italiana members: $7.50. It is cheaper to purchase tickets ahead of time rather than at the door.

- Saturday, December 13th, 4PM. Movie: Santocielo, by Francesco Amato. Purchase your tickets.

- Saturday, January 24th, 4PM. Movie: Elena's War, by Stefano Casertano. Based on a true story. Purchase your tickets.
- Sunday, February 15th, 4PM. Movie: Il nibbio (The Negotiator), directed by Alessandro Tonda. Based on true events. Purchase your tickets.
- Sunday, March 1st, 4PM. Movie: Primadonna, written and directed by Marta Savina. In honor of International Women's Day. Purchase your tickets.
- Saturday, April 11th, 4PM. Movie: Maschile singolare. Free and open to the public, with a reception to follow at Casa Italiana. Please RSVP here.
- Saturday, May 2nd, 4PM. Movie: Postponed.

Italian Conversation Table
The Italian Conversation Table is an informal conversation group led by Daniel Speciale and other members of Frank DiMino Casa Italiana. Its goal is to provide attendees with an opportunity to practice Italian in a casual setting.
