About ORSI
The Office Research, Scholarship, and Innovation (ORSI) office enables innovation by actively supporting faculty and student research and scholarship through external and internal funding, coaching, professional development, programming, and research administration.
We champion the dynamic and innovative work being done by Nazareth faculty, staff, and students through a variety of efforts, including:
- Internal funding opportunities for faculty and students that support a range of scholarly pursuits
- Creation and implementation of faculty development opportunities around scholarship and grant-seeking
- Communication and celebration of active grant awards and sponsored projects
- Support of the Boyer model of faculty scholarship
- Collaboration with campus partners in support of interdisciplinary, interprofessional, curricular, and co-curricular projects
- Leadership and infrastructure for student research initiatives
- Recognition and celebration of student achievement at the annual Creative Activity and Research Showcase (CARS)
- Workshops and trainings for faculty and staff on grant writing, searching for funding (databases), post-award compliance, etc.
