Among the offices and organizations on campus that support this work:
- The Division of Culture, Community, and Belonging (CCB) supports work to help students, faculty, and staff respect all forms of diversity, practice inclusivity, and advocate for social justice.
- Office for Diversity & Inclusive Excellence Education (ODIEE) provides opportunities to cultivate and sustain a community of belonging. ODIEE Instagram
- Atlas Center offers a safe space for LGBTQ+ students and provides resources to all community members to educate and better understand diverse sexual and gender identities. Atlas Instagram
- Diversity Resource Center offers a space for students to gather and collaborate on DEIB initiatives.
- Center for Spirituality (CFS) supports spiritual growth, dialogue, and service. CFS Instagram
- Hickey Center for Interfaith Studies and Dialogue and International Institute of Islamic Thought Chair promote understanding and appreciating differences of social justice issues through education and dialogue in an increasingly global landscape.
- Student Access and Achievement Program (SAAP) supports students who don't have a parent/guardian who earned a bachelor's degree. SAAP Instagram
- HEOP supports New York state residents who have been academically and economically disadvantaged.
- First-Generation Student Initiatives supports students who don't have a parent/guardian who earned a bachelor's degree.
- Young Scholars provides high-achieving, first-generation students with financial need access to an unparalleled private education.
- LifePrep@Naz provides students with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a college experience, strengthening their life skills, vocational skills, self-sufficiency, and independence. LifePrep Instagram
- Residential Life staff help students adjust to living on campus and connect with others.
- Student Accessibility Services provides interpreters, scribes, and testing accommodations.
- Military & Veteran Services’ coordinator and academic counselor provides support, and the Military & Veteran Suite is a dedicated lounge space.
- Women and Gender Studies Department provides a broad-based community for interdisciplinary scholarship and inquiry focusing on women, gender, and sexualities.
- Naz Dining meets regularly with the ODIEE to participate in Heritage/History month celebrations and accommodate religious holiday nutritional needs. Naz Dining Instagram
- Diversity Council Student Clubs on campus include but are not limited to BSU (Black Student Union), Lambda Association, El Barrio, LASMA, Best Buddies Club, Chinese Club, Club Italianissimo, Interfaith Leadership Cohort, Intersectional Feminist Alliance, German Club, French Club, and ASL club.
