wing = Golden Flyers, athletics, campus life
latitude lines = international impact, study abroad
stripes = dedication to veteran students
rib cage = sciences, health and human services
laurel branch = strong academic traditions, natural setting of campus
compass = helping students find their place in the world/community/marketplace, northeastern U.S. location
