Wondering what’s open or when certain buildings close? Here are typical hours. (Hours change during semester breaks, as noted on this page).

Academics

Summer: Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., unless otherwise noted below.

Fall and spring semesters: The following academic buildings are open from 7 a.m. - midnight, 7 days a week (unless different hours are noted below).

    • Offices are typically open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

  • Arts Center
    • 7 a.m. - midnight, 7 days a week
  • Casa Hispana
  • Casa Italiana
  • Some computer labs — in Smyth Hall and Clock Tower Commons — are open 24 hours: Computer Labs
  • Emerson Language Lab
  • Golisano Academic Center (GAC)
  • Peckham Hall
  • Shults Center: 7 a.m. - midnight, 7 days a week
  • Smyth Hall
  • Wilmot Library
  • York Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute (YWRI)

Dining

Hours are posted each week for dining locations on campus (The Roost and The Cabaret in Shults Center, Lourdes & Kearney Dining Commons, and Millie’s Café)

Health, Wellness, and Fitness

Living on Campus

  • Residence hall doors are kept locked. Student residents use their valid NazCard to access their building. If you need access, contact Campus Safety; courtesy phones are located at the main entrances to all residence halls.

During breaks

Semester breaks

During semester breaks, most academic buildings are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays; weekend hours only for special events. Faculty and staff can swipe in anytime.

But some buildings maintain their own hours: Library hoursGolisano Training Center hours, and the stadium (4-8 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m.-noon weekends).

  • If you’ve found an item, drop it off — or call and Campus Safety can send an officer to pick it up.
