Woodwind and brass students in all degree programs receive:

  • weekly one-hour private lessons
  • weekly performance class 
  • guest artist master classes
  • ‘Almost a Recital' preparatory class
  • rehearse with collaborative pianists

In addition to traditional courses and performance opportunities on campus, string students can take advantage of additional experiences facilitated through the woodwind and brass area. These opportunities are offered to students on an individual basis depending on the student's level of musicianship, performance level and interest.
