Tara Prosak ’14, goalie on the Nazareth women’s lacrosse team, was named Empire 8 Conference Goalkeeper of the Year for the 2013 season. Prosak was one of four Nazareth players selected as first-team all-stars through voting conducted by the league’s head coaches.
In addition to Prosak, attack Erinn Wood ’13, midfielder Alyssa Johnston ’13, and defender MacKenzie Haley ’15 were named to the first team. Midfielder Megan Cregan ’13 was named to the second team and midfielder Leah Cronister ’13 was Nazareth’s representative as Sportswoman of the Year.
Prosak, of Jamesville, N.Y. and a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School, played in all 17 games for the Golden Flyers (9-8) in 2013 and amassed a conference-best 130 saves for a 9.10 goals-against average and a .522 save percentage. She had five games in which she produced double-digit save totals, including a career-best of 15 in a game at St. John Fisher April 13.
