Goalie Tara Prosak ’14 and attack Brooke Sullivan ’15 were first-team representatives for Nazareth on the Empire 8 Conference all-star team for women’s lacrosse. The teams were chosen by the league’s head coaches.
Prosak was a repeat first-team selection and was chosen E8 Goalie of the Year for the second year in a row. Midfielder Carly Gates ’16 was named to the second team along with defender MacKenzie Haley ’15. Attack Amy McIntosh ’14 and midfielder Brianna Mancini ’15 made honorable mention. Defender Hannah Prince ’15 was Nazareth’s representative as E8 Sportswoman of the Year.
Prosak, of Jamesville, N.Y., completed a strong four-year career for the Golden Flyers as she totaled 133 saves in 2014 for a .512 save percentage and a goals-against average of 8.66. She ranks second all-time with 517 saves.
Sullivan, of Clinton, N.Y., led the Golden Flyers in scoring in 2014 with 42 points on 34 goals and eight assists. She also had a team-best 42 draw controls and completed her third season with 64 career goals.
