Graduate Student Teaching
(Initial Certification)

Graduate student teaching is the culminating clinical experience for all teacher candidates who have a Bachelor's Degree and are seeking their Master's Degree and initial certification in a teacher educator program. Those teacher candidates who are anticipating completing their graduate student teaching clinical experience within the next year should review the following information below carefully.


The Graduate Student Teaching Application is due one year prior to the student teaching experience.
Before completing your application, please carefully read The Graduate Student Teaching Information Packet.

  • After reading the information packet, complete the Graduate Student Teaching Application
    • ALL documents must be completed and submitted digitally as a PDF to
    • Please remember to save the PDF with your last name, first name - student teaching application.
    • Pictures taken on your phone will not be accepted.
