A love of classical music

    Developing my professional mindset

What’s cool: “The RPO is not afraid to give me actual projects and fully supports me working through real-world scenarios, including any mistakes that may come up. Taking everything as a learning lesson has been an important driver for me in this internship.”

How did Naz prepare you? “I thought my career path would be in live sound, working clubs, smaller venues, and the occasional larger ensemble recording. Professor Kristen Shiner McGuire, who knows my love for classical music, told me about the RPO internship that ended up being a perfect match. I learned how important the production side of things really is and it has made me reconsider the paths that I can travel into. Naz has helped to develop my professional mindset, specifically on the communication side. I know how to act professionally when dealing with clients or coworkers.”
