Community Music Program

Private Lessons

Private lessons are the heart of the Community Music Program's mission. Developing the skills to master an instrument or the voice successfully is best accomplished in this one-on-one weekly meeting of the student and teacher. Our years of practice enable us to offer superior musical expertise to the Rochester–area community. While not necessarily required of the student, performance is encouraged as a goal. It's an opportunity to take their studies to a level of achievement far beyond that of weekly lesson preparation.

New Students

Upon receipt of a completed registration form and the registration fee, the Division Coordinator will consult with the prospective student/parent in order to arrange for an appropriate choice of teacher. The instructor, once notified, will then contact the new student to confirm the lesson schedule. Please note: tuition payment for the term must be made prior to the beginning of instruction.
