Nursing Service Program

Students participated in a service-learning project in Belize over Spring Break with Nazareth's Nursing Department!

They had the opportunity to work with the residents of Octavia Waight Centre, a nursing home in San Ignacio. Under the supervision of faculty, they conducted home health assessments, developed care plans, provided health promotion education, and supported residents' recreational activities.

They also had time to explore the cultures of Belize with such activities as visiting the Mayan ruins, Belize Zoo and Butterfly Farm, and going zip lining!
