Jamaica
International Social Work
Examine first-hand the differences in social work between the United States and Jamaica. Perform social services at community centers in Kingston, walk the white sands at Treasure Beach, and experience Jamaica’s rich cultural heritage with visits to markets, museums, and more.
Under the guidance and direction of Nazareth faculty, Professor Mark Primus and Dr. Carol Brownstein-Evans, students develop professional skills in the field through hands-on experience in group homes, community centers, and homeless shelters.
