We want to show you how much you mean to us! 

Graduate students make up a quarter of the Nazareth College population and your invaluable contributions and engagements are felt all across the campus. You are deeply appreciated!

Sunday, March 27

  • Weekend Graduate Student Lunch
    • 12 - 1 p.m., York/WRI Lobby
    • We appreciate you, weekend graduate students! Join your classmates and professors for a pizza lunch on us.

Monday, March 28

  • Goody Bags & Free Grad T-Shirts
    • 3 - 4 p.m., Shults
    • Grab a goody bag and a free t-shirt (while supplies last) before you head to class.
    • One per person only; choose your day to pick up your items
    • Supplies are limited and first-come, first-served
  • Laser Engrave Your Own Pint Glass
    • 3 - 5 p.m., Makerspace (located in Library)
    • We won't give you a (beer) case of the Mondays but we will give you a free pint glass to laser engrave at the Makerspace.
  • Networking Essentials & FlyerConnect Workshop
    • 5 - 5:45 p.m., Virtual, (Zoom link)
    • Seeking to grow your professional network? Join us for an informative session covering networking tips and an overview of a great tool and online networking community, FlyerConnect.  Hosted by: Kathy Tonkovich (Career Coach for SBL and School of Ed), and Lisa Heisman (Career Coach for Music Therapy, Art Therapy, HESAA and Nursing)

    • 4 - 5:30 pm, Media Services (basement of Library, Rm 133)
    • Need an updated headshot for FlyerConnect or LinkedIn? Come & get a professional headshot taken by photographers, for free!  Stop by the Library/Media Services (Room 133 - in the basement) anytime between 4-5:30 pm. Getting your photo taken should take only 5 minutes.

Tuesday, March 29

  • Ice Cream Sundae Social
    • 3 - 5 p.m., Shults
    • It's Graduate Student Appreciation Week! Connect with your peers and celebrate sundae-style at this fun event.

  • Coffee & Resume Chat with Career Coaches

    • Come to Millie’s, grab a coffee (our treat!) and join us to chat about your resume or LinkedIn profile!
    • Hosted by friendly Career Coaches from the Center for Life’s Work: Kathy Tonkovich (SBL and School of Ed), Alison Albright (Speech Language Pathology and American Studies), Lisa Heisman (HESAA, Nursing and Music Therapy) and Zac Saeva (PT and OT).
  • Wags & Wellness: Graduate Student Edition
    • 7-8 p.m., GAC 151
    • Have you met Orion, one of Nazareth's therapy dogs? She'll be hanging out in GAC with IPAW Collective and the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC), for Graduate Student Appreciation Week. And look out for both Orion and Rosie, Naz's other therapy dog, at different events throughout the week!

Wednesday, March 30

    • 3 - 5 p.m., Echo Circle (near back entrance of Shults)
    • Do you want a waffle? Do you want that waffle on a stick?? You're in luck! Come by to grab a delicious treat before you head to class!

    • “Work with Purpose: How to land a gooood job™ ”: is an interactive career-coaching workshop led by Erica B. Walls, PhD: a visionary, strategic leader who connects, educates, and inspires women to achieve purposeful goals.

Thursday, March 31

  • Grad Gra-TEA-tude
    • 3 - 5 p.m., Shults 100
    • Stop by Shults 100 (Dean of Students office) and socialize over a cup of tea (or coffee) and some treats to show our gratitude.
  • Paint & Dip(s)
    • 7 - 9 p.m., Sorelle's (GAC)
    • Enjoy some fun foods, get creative, and spend some time with friends while you make a masterpiece.

Friday, April 1
