Student Engagement & Leadership

Celebration of BIPOC Series

Nazareth College's Undergraduate Association is passionate about fighting for social justice, supporting equal human rights, and ending racism. We applaud our BIPOC faculty and staff and their leadership, hard work, and dedication to our community, and we want to bring light to our BIPOC community member's experiences. In 2020-21, UA Senators began conducting individual interviews and writing these summaries.

The inspiration arose from the BLM movement, and the effects our students have felt towards the passings of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Jacob Blake, Daniel Prude, and countless others. We would like to collectively understand the racial differences in treatment.
