Need to meet with one of us?

Stop by the Academic Resource Center (Smyth 1) or email advisement@naz.edu. If requesting an appointment, include the following:

  • Schedule an Appointment as the email subject
  • Student ID number
  • 2 - 3 specific days and times when you are available
  • Face-to-face, Zoom, or phone preferred? If phone, provide your number
  • What would you like to discuss? Be specific

An advisor will respond to you confirming your meeting day/time within 1 business day.

Changing Majors or Declaring a New Major/Minor

Students: Send an email to the department chairperson or program director of the program you want, and request approval to declare that major or minor. Forward the approval to advisement@naz.edu, and your request will be processed. Here is a list of chairs and program directors: Undergraduate Department Chairs and Program Directors.

OR

Submit a Declaration or Change of Major form signed by the appropriate department chair or program director and submit it to the Academic Resource Center (Smyth 1).  


 

Transferring Credits »

New Incoming students: See details about getting college credit for courses completed elsewhere, AP, IB, CLEP, DSST, NLN, NYU Foreign Language Proficiency, and Excelsior College exams, and from Prior Learning Assessment.

Need the Office of Registration & Records?

The Registration and Records team manages student academic records, the list of courses offered each semester, and the calendar of deadlines and key events. The office oversees the official course catalog, grade reports, graduation, verification of enrollment/degrees, and transcripts processing. It's also the place to get various academic forms.
