The staff of the Academic Advisement Center is working remotely to assist students. We're happy to help, and students can request to schedule remote appointments with us if needed. The best way to reach us at this time is by sending an email to advisement@naz.edu.

Withdrawal Deadline Extended

    • The deadline to withdraw from courses is being extended to April 10th at 4:30 p.m.
    • Students should email course withdrawal requests to registrar@naz.edu by the deadline and copy the academic advisor and instructor on the email so that the advisor can provide their approval via email. Instructor approval is not required this semester.
    • Include name, ID, subject, and the course number and section being withdrawn.
    • The Registrar's Office will be in touch with students right away, and will reach out to financial aid if a student is dropping below full time credits.

Changing Majors or Declaring a New Major/Minor

Students: Email the department chairperson or program director of the program you want and request approval to declare that major or minor. Forward the approval to advisement@naz.edu, and your request will be processed.

Approval Process for Summer UG Coursework Completed through other Institutions:

Students should email their advisor asking for approval for any summer coursework to be completed at another institution.

  • The email must include the institution, course number, course title, credit hours and the course for which the student needs credit. Include a specific Nazareth course number whenever possible or the requirement being fulfilled by the transfer course such as a PEQ in history, major/minor elective or liberal arts elective.
  • The advisor must copy advisement@naz.edu when emailing the student back with their approval. Academic Advisement will further consult with department chairs if needed.
