Advisement and Registration deadlines extended

  • Advisement during spring 2020 has been extended to now run from March 26 – April 23.
  • Registration for fall 2020 courses will run from April 15 – April 23. 
  • Your registration time: Students, check the blue bar on the Schedule view in Student Planning for your registration start date/time, and be sure to schedule your required appointment with your advisor before that date. (Note: The blue bar will only appear in the Schedule view for the 20/FA term.)
  • You must meet with your academic advisor(s) and be approved for registration. Appointments will take place by phone, email, and/or video conferencing, based on advisor preference. Your advisor will email instructions to you for scheduling an appointment.

Withdrawal Deadline Extended

    • The deadline to withdraw from courses is being extended to April 10th at 4:30 p.m.
    • Students should email course withdrawal requests to by the deadline and copy the academic advisor and instructor on the email so that the advisor can provide their approval via email. Instructor approval is not required this semester.
    • Include name, ID, subject, and the course number and section being withdrawn.
    • The Registrar's Office will be in touch with students right away, and will reach out to financial aid if a student is dropping below full time credits.
    • Remember, students must drop both lecture and lab for science courses that have required corequisite labs.

Changing Majors or Declaring a New Major/Minor

Students: Email the department chairperson or program director of the program you want and request approval to declare that major or minor. Forward the approval to, and your request will be processed.

Approval Process for Summer UG Coursework Completed through other Institutions:

Students should email their advisor asking for approval for any summer coursework to be completed at another institution.

  • The email must include the institution, course number, course title, credit hours and the course for which the student needs credit. Include a specific Nazareth course number whenever possible or the requirement being fulfilled by the transfer course such as a PEQ in history, major/minor elective or liberal arts elective.
  • The advisor must copy when emailing the student back with their approval. Academic Advisement will further consult with department chairs if needed.

Need the Registrar's Office?

The Registrar team manages student academic records, the list of courses offered each semester, and the calendar of deadlines and key events. The office oversees the official course catalog, grade reports, graduation, verification of enrollment/degrees, and transcripts processing. It's also the place to get various academic forms.
