Muzio, Willard Make E8 Second Team
Maggie Muzio ’16 and Catherine Willard ’16 were second-team selections last November with the announcement of the Empire 8 Conference all-star teams for field hockey. Cathy Stahl ’16 was an honorable mention.
Muzio, of Latham, N.Y. and a graduate of Shaker High School, started all 19 games and produced 14 points on three goals and a team-best eight assists for the Golden Flyers, who finished 8-11 overall in 2014.
Willard, of Pittsford, N.Y. and a graduate of Pittsford Sutherland, led the Golden Flyers in scoring in 2014 with 39 points on 17 goals and five assists in 19 starts. She tied the Nazareth single-season record for goals and also tied the single-game record with four goals in a game at Hartwick last October.
Stahl, of Greene, N.Y. and a graduate of Greene High School, ranked third on the team in scoring with 10 points on four goals and two assists.
