Global Maximum Educational Opportunities (G-MEO) offers study abroad opportunities with hands-on experience through academic courses, internships, and volunteer opportunities with leading civil society organizations and Fortune 500 companies in China! 


This program will not be available to Nazareth students until the 2024-25 academic year

Activities & Excursions

Students have the opportunity to participate in excursions arranged by Chengdu staff as well as independently coordinate trips with other students.

Students retain their full financial aid packages and pay Nazareth tuition and Nazareth standard double room charges.


Students may take courses for one semester or an academic year in Chinese Studies, International Studies, Communication, Law and Legal Studies, Psychology, Economics, and International Business.

Housing & Meals


Students reside in standard double occupancy rooms at the Chengdu American Center on the Sichuan University Huaxi Campus; single occupancy rooms are available upon request and at an extra cost.

Students may also reside at nearby hotels.


Students use a campus card to access the campus cafeterias or may also eat at nearby shops/restaurants. 

Authentic Chengdu cuisines may include: Sichuan Cuisine, Hotpot, and Snack.
