Changes are only permitted during annual open enrollment or within 30 days of a qualified status change.
Qualified event/family status changes include:
Benefit/Plan changes are allowed when adding a new dependent (birth, marriage), but plan/benefit changes are not allowed when removing or cancelling a dependent (divorce, age off).
To initiate your life event, please log onto HR@Hand and go to the "Life Events" to begin. Please contact HR with any questions.
Use the Life Event guide for help completing your life event process in HR@Hand.
Please note: Documentation to confirm the status change will be required and any election change you request due to a "change in family status" must be consistent with the family status change that occurred. Please send your documentation to BenefitsHR@naz.edu.
