Saturday, May 24

  • Bus from Nazareth University to Toronto
  • Flight to Poland from Pearson International Airport

Sunday, May 25 – Rzeszów

  • Arrival in Rzeszów
  • Check-in at Hotel Prezydencki
  • Walk to Old Town
  • Dinner at Stary Browar Rzeszowski 

Monday, May 26 – Rzeszów

  • Shopping at Millenium Hall
  • Meeting with the President of Rzeszów University
  • Meeting with the City Mayor
  • Evening choral rehearsal
  • Free time and socializing with Polish students

Tuesday, May 27 – Rzeszów

  • Tour of Łańcut Castle
  • Lunch at Hotel Łańcut 
  • Choral concert at the Music Department
  • Dinner at Browar Manufaktura 

Wednesday, May 28 – Kraków

  • Travel to Kraków
  • Check-in at Kraków Apartments
  • Lunch at Lunch Bar MARCO
  • Choral concert I at Franciscan Basilica
  • Meal at concert location 
  • Choral concert II at Franciscan Basilica
  • Post-concert celebration at The Stage 

Thursday, May 29 – Kraków / Countryside

  • Breakfast on your own (Lunch Bar MARCO or Café Bageri Stockholm)
  • Walk to Old Town and orientation
  • Free time in Market Square
  • Trip to the countryside for dinner and workshop with folk ensemble Kapela Ciupaga

Friday, May 30 – Kraków

  • Breakfast on your own (Lunch Bar MARCO or Café Bageri Stockholm)
  • Visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine
  • Free time in Old Town
  • La La Land in Concert at Tauron Arena
  • Meeting with composer Justin Hurwitz
  • Dinner at Bistro Charlotte, Szczepański Square 

Saturday, May 31 – Kraków

  • Breakfast on your own (Lunch Bar MARCO or Café Bageri Stockholm)
  • Free time or walk with faculty to Wawel Castle
  • Film Music Festival Gala Concert at ICE Kraków
  • Final night in Kraków – walk to Market Square for refreshments

Sunday, June 1 – Warsaw

  • Breakfast on your own (Lunch Bar MARCO or Café Bageri Stockholm)
  • Bus to Warsaw with lunch stop at Grzybowa Chata 
  • Check-in at Gromada Hotel
  • Visit to Chopin Museum
  • Dinner at Oliva Restaurant 
  • Orientation and walk to the Old Town

Monday, June 2 – Warsaw

  • Visit to Łazienki Park
  • Free time for shopping and sightseeing (Jewish Museum or shopping at Złote Tarasymall)
  • Farewell group dinner at Torello Restaurant 

Tuesday, June 3 – Return Travel

  • Bus to Warsaw Airport
  • Flight to Toronto
  • Bus to Nazareth University
Accommodations

In each city, we will be staying in a different set of accommodations ranging from hotels to apartment stays.

Program Costs & Funding
The total cost for this trip in 2025 was $3,400.00. This is subject to change in 2027. 
 
The program fee includes:
 
 
  • Airfare: $1,600.00
 
  • Program Fee: $1,800.00 which includes all accommodations, charter bus transportation in the US and Poland, some meals, trip, sightseeing and events.

 

Not included:
 
 
  • Passport
 
  • Cell phone international charges
 
  • Dress/tuxedo and dress shoes for concert
 
  • Personal spending money and miscellaneous expenses

 

Funding Sources:

For SPARK eligible students, you will receive the $1,500 SPARK Grant from the Center for Life's Work.
 
For non-SPARK eligible students, you will be eligible for some funding from the Center for International Education.
 

For Music Majors only, you are eligible for $100.00 from the School of Music.
