Concepción is the capital city of the Bío Bío Region and is located in the central part of Chile near the Pacific Ocean. Universidad de Concepción (UdeC) was the third university established in Chile. UdeC has groups producing outstanding scientific research with permanent national and international support.

Program Highlights:

  • UdeC offers 90 undergraduate programs. Choose from disciplines such as biological and chemical sciences, education, humanities and art, law, and sciences.
  • Along with its beautiful architecture and magnificent park, the campus boasts breathtaking gardens that attract visitors from around the world.
  • UdeC is the headquarters for two multinational centers for research and training: The Biotechnology Center and the Marine Biological Station located in the Dichato Bay area.
