Paul McArdle

Biography

Paul McArdle is a professional session and freelance guitarist, composer and educator. His studies and earnings include a B.A. from Empire State College, as well as additional studies through the Eastman School of Music’s Institute of Music Leadership, Jazz Pedagogy at Capital University, and the Berklee School of Music. In addition to his active session work, he has composed and co-produced two self-titled recordings as a leader, As Is, and the Middle of Infinity, having collaborated with respected independent producers from New York to Los Angeles. An active performer in the region, he has performed at respected venues such as the Bitter End in New York, the Rochester, NY International Jazz Festival and the Syracuse, NY Jazz Festival. Affluent in various contemporary electric guitar styles including jazz, blues, rock and fusion, his emphasis is to present integrated, adaptive, and contemporary electric guitar concepts with creative praxis.
