Alice Pratt


Alice Sciscioli Pratt is the former winner of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra’s Music Educators Award and multiple year inductee in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. She was also honored with the Outstanding Service Award for 2016. Alice has taught music for the Rochester City Schools for 33 years and she has served as national conference co-chair for the American Orff Schulwerk Association Professional Development Conference and on their National Board of Trustees and authored “OPUS: Orff Programs in Urban Schools” in Reverberations, their quarterly newsletter.

Alice is a published composer and author, and frequent presenter for AOSA, Canada Orff, and the New York State School Music Association. She is a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester where she received her B.S. in Music Education and is the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Alumna Award. Postgraduate work includes the Eastman School of Music and SUNY Fredonia. She is a certified Orff Schulwerk instructor.
